Itinerary (subject to change)

Day 1:
Departure at 8:00 p.m. from Wiesbaden, Hainerberg PX military bus
stop; 8:00 p.m. from Kaiserslautern P+R parking lot at Daenner Platz
(near Kleber Kaserne); 9:15 pm from Heidelberg PHV, P+R parking lot (off base, near new commissary); 10:30 pm from Böblingen, Panzerkaserne PX
parking lot. Overnight travel via Munich, Innsbruck, Bozen to Verona.

Day 2:
After breakfast en route (not included) we arrive in VERONA. A walking tour will highlight the 1st century roman theatre and the famous balcony of the house Capulet - You can almost hear the faint echoes of Romeos whispered words of love and almost see the fading silhouette of Juliet above. To this day an enchanted place where thousands of visitors leave their own messages of the heart. You
have time for a pizza lunch next to the ancient arena before we continue to our hotel near Venice.

Day 3:
After breakfast in the hotel, we leave for the city
in the lagoon. Around 10 a.m. Venice is rapidly filling with hoards of
tourists To be there an hour earlier does the trick! With a private boat
we transfer from the bus to the very heart of the town – to majestic
St. Mark’s square. You could read all that is written about Venice
and it would still be impossible to imagine this dreamlike ensemble
of Basilicas and Palaces lining the waterfront. During a short walking
tour your guide will point out the most important sights. There will be ample time to visit one of the renown glass furnaces… to ride a gondola (approx € 35)… for shopping… or simply enjoy the PARADE OF MASQUERADES in the streets of Venice. It is a must to have a camera here. Hundreds of different costumes are presented by people who are coming from all over the world. Have fun and share the spirit of the CARNE VALE with the other visitors and the Venetians. After dinner (not included) we return back to our hotel..

Day 4:
After buffet breakfast in the hotel (included) and check out we depart for SWITZERLAND. We drive to the heart of Switzerland, the place where the first Swiss Confederation was formed in 1291, LUCERNE. We will use our short visit in Lucerne to enjoy the SWISS FASCHING before we depart for Germany. Late evening arrival at points of origin.
