Itinerary (subject to change)

Day 1:
Departure at 6:00 pm from Wiesbaden, Hainerberg PX military bus stop;
6:00 pm from Kaiserslautern P+R parking lot at Daenner Platz (near Kleber Kaserne); 7:15 pm from Heidelberg PHV, P+R parking lot (near new commissary); 9:00 pm from Böblingen, Panzerkaserne PX parking lot. Overnight travel via Austria (Italy) to Slovenia.


Day 2:
Mid-Morning arrival in lovely Portoroz on the coast of the Istrian Peninsula. Check
in at our hotel, located directly at the shore of the Adriatic Sea (see photo). This
afternoon you are invited for a welcome cocktail. Dinner included in the hotel.

Day 3:
Take advantage of the beach, water sports, hotel activities or join our full day excursion to Lipica and Postojna. See the fascinating caves where one of the oldest creatures on Earth – a blind amphibian – still lives. In Lipica, you’ll see a performance by the dancing horses at the original farm.

Day 4:
Take advantage of the beach, water sports, hotel activities or join our full day excursion to Venice (Italy). After an early morning departure we will arrive near Venice and take a motorboat to the San Marco square. Venetian glass blowers performing their ancient art will be another highlight after the orientation tour. The afternoon is free for own activities, but probably you like to join a romantic
Gondola Ride on the canals of Venice? Your tour guide will assist you. In the late afternoon we drive back to Portoroz.

Day 5:
Today you are invited to travel to Pula, Croatia. The largest city of the
Istria peninsula has a lot to offer. After an orientation tour we will visit the Amphitheatre, the sixth largest in the world and locally known as the Arena (entry extra). Afternoon free for shopping before we leave for dinner in the hotel.

Day 6:
After breakfast and check out we will leave Portoroz and drive back to
Germany. Lunch and dinner en route. Late night.

Day 7:
Early morning arrival at points of origin.
