DAY 1:
11:00 pm departure from Böblingen Panzerkaserne, PX parking lot. 00:30 am (Day 2) departure from Heidelberg PHV, P&R parking lot (outside base, near new commissary), 00:30 am (Day 2) departure from Kaiserslautern Daennerplatz (opposite Kleber Kaserne), P&R parking lot. (Day 2) 01:45 am departure from Wiesbaden Hainerberg, Military bus stop.
DAY 2:
Overnight travel to the Netherlands. Breakfast en route (not included). During a brief stop at a wooden shoe factory you can see how a piece of wood is transformed to Dutch footwear and then we share the delight of the city of AMSTERDAM with a sightseeing tour. There is time for a canal boat ride (appr. € 15). In the afternoon you’ll have free time to visit the Anne Frank House (appr. € 10), to discover the picturesque Red Light district, to shop at the Flower Market or join an excursion (€ 20, ticket & transportation included) to North Holland and the Zuider lake, where we visit the windmill park of Zaanse Schans - a photographer’s delight. In the evening we depart for the harbor of Hoek van Holland, near Rotterdam, where we board our ship. After check in you can enjoy a choice of different multi course dinners (appr. € 28) or a snack at the Cafeteria on board. Take advantage of the ship facilities afterwards. Overnight cruise to Harwich, Great Britain.
DAY 3:
After an early hearty buffet breakfast on board (included), we check out and meet our bus for our journey to LONDON. From Harwich we travel to LONDON for a sightseeing tour featuring the London Wall of Roman times, the Tower of William the Conqueror, the Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, the Buckingham Palace (Changing of guards, when available). In your free time in London you can visit the Tower, see celebrities in Madame Tussaud’s, go shopping at Harrods or join an excursion to the Tower of London (£ 35, ticket & transportation included). In the evening we depart for Harwich, where we board our ship again. Dinner on board available (appr. € 28). Overnight cruise to Rotterdam, Netherlands.
DAY 4:
After an early buffet breakfast on board (included) we check out and drive to Belgium. Our city tour of BRUSSELS will take us to the Atomium, to the Royal Palaces and Parks and to the famous Manneken Pis. We’ll visit a lace shop, where you can buy delectable hand made lace, and you’ll have free time to taste the famous Belgian chocolates and beers. In the afternoon we depart for Germany. Dinner stop en route and late evening arrival at points of origin.
