Your journey begins with travel to the renowned Alpine resort town of Davos, located in eastern Switzerland. On the way, we will make a short stop in the Principality of Liechtenstein, one of the smallest countries in the world. Nestled between Switzerland and Austria, Liechtenstein is known for its mountain scenery, medieval castles, and its capital, Vaduz, with its charming pedestrian zone and views of Vaduz Castle overlooking the Rhine Valley. Upon arrival at your hotel in Davos, you will be warmly welcomed with a complimentary welcome drink. After check-in and room assignment, enjoy a relaxing dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Davos.
DAY 2:
After a generous breakfast at the hotel, you will travel by coach to Chur, the oldest city in Switzerland, with a history dating back over 5,000 years. During a short walking tour, explore the charming Old Town with its narrow streets, historic buildings, and the impressive cathedral. From Chur, you will board a train and travel “in the footsteps of the Glacier Express,” following part of the route of the world-famous Glacier Express. This scenic railway journey takes you through the spectacular Rhine Gorge—often called the “Swiss Grand Canyon”—with dramatic cliffs, deep valleys, and breathtaking Alpine landscapes, continuing on to Disentis. In Disentis, you will have the opportunity to visit the 1,400-year-old Disentis Abbey, a historic Benedictine monastery that has played an important cultural and spiritual role in the region for centuries. You may also choose to enjoy lunch at the monastery. In the afternoon, return by coach to Davos for dinner at the hotel and an overnight stay.
DAY 3:
Today you travel to the glamorous resort town of St. Moritz in the Engadin Valley. Famous for its elegance, luxury hotels, and as a two-time Winter Olympic host, St. Moritz is one of the world’s most prestigious Alpine destinations. Enjoy time to soak in the sophisticated atmosphere and stunning mountain scenery. From here begins the unforgettable panoramic journey aboard the Bernina Express. Considered one of the most beautiful railway routes in the Alps, this approximately 2,5-hour ride takes you across the Bernina Pass, over impressive viaducts and spiral tunnels, past glaciers and crystal-clear mountain lakes, and across dramatic high-altitude landscapes into Italy. The train descends into the charming Italian town of Tirano in northern Italy. Here, you will enjoy a traditional Italian pasta meal at a carefully selected restaurant. Afterward, return by coach to Davos. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 4:
After breakfast and hotel check-out, the journey continues to the spectacular Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. The Rhine Falls are the largest waterfalls in Europe by volume, where immense masses of water cascade powerfully over the rocks, creating an unforgettable natural spectacle. Following your visit, you will begin your return journey home, concluding a memorable tour through Switzerland’s most breathtaking Alpine landscapes. Early dinner en route. Late evening arrival at points of origin.
